Mr. Big Stuff

"We did it!  We did it!  We did it!  Hooray!"  So I guess I have to confess.  I miss Dora.  I miss watching Dora with my girl.  For those of you that don't know, that is a quote from Dora.

Anyway, Dusty and I took Parker to get his first haircut today.  We started out the evening with dinner at Abuelo's.  Teachers get 20% off this week!  We both stuffed ourselves...I thought I missed that "full" feeling, but now I realize, not so much.  I had all of my "flex points" from Weight Watchers so I should still be okay, I hope.

So big!!

How is that turkey & rice, Parker?

Then, we walked over to Sheer Madness, a hair salon for kids.  Parker sat in the hummer watching cartoons as we watched the curls disappear.  We put him in the chair looking like a 9 month old baby and picked him up out of the chair looking like such a big boy!  He was pretty good through the haircut.  Several times, he turned around to look at the girl cutting his hair as if to say, "What in the world are you doing?"  It was pretty cute.  He cried at times, but also stayed pretty quiet at other times.  Dusty strapped him in, the girl put the cape on him, and Parker sat there all by himself.  I guess he can now answer when Ella and I sing to him, "Mr. Big Stuff...doo, doo, doo, doo, doo...who do you think you are?"

He's not too sure what is going on at this point.

Nope...not wantin' to be a part of this at all!

And just what do you think you're doing?

Okay, maybe you're alright.

My big boy

The curls are all gone...for now.  We think he has wavy hair so they may return!

All done!!

Aunt Traci came over to see my new haircut!
