Ella is off to spend the week with Grandma and Grandpa Layton in St. Louis. My mom took the train yesterday afternoon so she and Ella could take the train together this morning. Excited doesn't quite cut it when describing how Ella was feeling. She has been talking about this for days and the big day was finally here. She had her Elmo backpack packed with fun things for the train (stickers, play-doh, crayons...yep, I'm sure the food tray looked like one-of-a-kind after Ella was done with it!) :) We made sure we got there early enough to take pictures and enjoy the anticipation. After some cuddles and kisses, we heard the train whistle coming and it was time to say goodbye. Of course, the tears started flowing for me. All 3 of us are going to miss her so much, but we know she is going to have a great time in St. Louis going places such as the zoo and Grant's Farm. Dusty and I plan to catch up on some things around the house and take Parker to get his first haircut!
